Context
A young collector wanted to take on a more active and focused role as a philanthropist. Alongside growing her collection, she wanted to define how and where she could contribute, explore board service and build relationships with cultural institutions that reflected her values and ambitions.
Our role
We provided ongoing strategic advice as she developed her philanthropic direction. Together, we identified organisations and opportunities aligned with her interests, considered potential board roles and facilitated introductions to museums, foundations, galleries and cultural leaders.
Outcome
She now has a clear framework for her short term and longer term philanthropy. Our work has led to dozens of new relationships across the cultural sector, as well as two specific board opportunities, giving her a practical route towards deeper involvement.
