Context
Known for integrating social and environmental responsibility into its work, Snøhetta sought to create a philanthropic platform that could amplify this commitment beyond the built environment. The goal was to establish a foundation capable of supporting initiatives aligned with the firm's values, while remaining financially sustainable over the long term.
Our role
We worked alongside Snøhetta's leadership as long-term strategic advisors, supporting every stage of the Foundation's development. Our role spanned strategic planning, governance and business model design, while also cultivating partnerships and relationships across the cultural and philanthropic sectors, helping position the Foundation within an international ecosystem of collaborators and supporters.
Outcome
The Foundation moved from concept to implementation, securing philanthropic support and institutional partnerships that enabled the development of programmes across Europe, the Middle East and the US.
