Context
The client wanted to begin collecting art but was unsure where to start. They wanted help navigating artists and galleries, understanding what they were drawn to and making their first acquisitions intentionally.
Our role
We began with the client's own interests and instincts. From there, we introduced artists, galleries and works that opened up different possibilities, giving them the context to look, question and make informed choices.
The aim was never to tell the client what to buy. It was to help them understand what mattered to them and develop their own way of collecting.
Outcome
The client has made their first acquisitions and is continuing to build a collection that feels personal to them. Along the way, they have become more knowledgeable, more independent and more certain of their own eye.
